Chain IQ Data Breach Claimed by Worldleaks Ransomware Group

On June 11, 2025, the Worldleaks ransomware group claimed responsibility for a cyberattack on Chain IQ, a Swiss procurement service provider, and published approximately 910 GB of stolen data on their dark web leak site. The stolen data, comprising over 1.9 million files, included business contact details of employees from 19 of Chain IQ's client companies, such as internal phone numbers. Chain IQ confirmed the incident, stating that no bank customer data was compromised, but employee business contact details of selected clients were exfiltrated.
