NCH Corporation, a global provider of industrial solutions, became aware on March 9, 2026, that an unauthorized actor may have taken files from its network. An investigation revealed unauthorized activity between January 21, 2026, and February 25, 2026, during which sensitive personal information of thousands of individuals was accessed and acquired. The exposed data included names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, taxpayer identification numbers, driver's license numbers, passport numbers, financial account information, payment card information, medical information, and health insurance information. The Embargo ransomware group claimed responsibility for exfiltrating over 7.3TB of data.
