SoundCloud Data Breach Exposes 29.8 Million Accounts

Audio streaming platform SoundCloud suffered a data breach, with hackers stealing personal and contact information for nearly 30 million user accounts. The ShinyHunters extortion group claimed responsibility and dumped the stolen data online after an alleged extortion attempt failed. Compromised data included email addresses, names, usernames, avatars, follower/following counts, and in some cases, user countries. SoundCloud stated no sensitive data like financial or password information was accessed.
