WK Kellogg Co employee and vendor data stolen via Cleo file transfer platform

WK Kellogg Co disclosed a data breach where employee and vendor data was stolen via its third-party file transfer platform, Cleo. The Clop ransomware gang exploited two zero-day vulnerabilities (CVE-2024-50623 and CVE-2024-55956) in Cleo software on December 7, 2024. WK Kellogg learned of the incident on February 27, 2025, and officially notified authorities and affected individuals on April 4, 2025. At least one Maine resident's name and Social Security number were confirmed compromised.
